Symptoms of Candidiasis:
Candidiasis is a condition that appears when the candida with in the body grows past normal tolerance levels. When the body is in balance candida is controlled by natural bacteria.
It is quite normal that if that balance is lost the worst symptom will be a few days of Gastric or Diarrhea.
However if the naturally occurring bacteria does not build back to its normal levels quickly, The excess yeast can begin to cause a wide spread over growth.
This may occur In the mouth, and is called “thrush”. It may also reveal itself in the vagina, it is called “vaginitis” or at times is just referred to as a “yeast infection”.
Now when candidiasis appears in the digestive tract, it may not be visible or can be miss diagnosed for some time, weeks and even months. During this time it can cause many different symptoms that are quite uncomfortable.
Candidiasis which may include infections like those previously mentioned like oral thrush and vaginitis, to systemic and at times life-threatening diseases.
Here are the Symptoms of candidiasis;
- Constipation,
- Bloating and gas.
- A Sensation of Feeling Full, even when only a small amount of food is consumed.
- Fatigue, the condition can interfere or interrupt proper digestion resulting in nutrients not being extracted from the food consumed. low energy and hunger, can also be by products of this problem.
- Headaches are also common.
- Redness, itching and discomfort.
Most candidial infections can be treated without complication. The usual treatment is via anti fungal drugs and may be administered via either a cream or as a tablet.
Yeast infections usually show themselves in the moist areas of the body, the mouth, vagina and intestines.
But, if the infections are left alone, over time the yeast will shift to become a fungus and will sink root-like rhizoids under the surface of the mucosa.
As previously mentioned this can happen if the infection is in the intestinal tract where it often goes either unnoticed or undiagnosed.
And, when this occurs, toxins and other substances which are normally prevented from penetrating the surface of the intestinal lining are given a route to invade the rest of the body. This causes an illness known as “leaky gut syndrome”. It is a kind of infection that can cause a wide range of symptoms on its own.
Symptoms include;
- thrush,
- vaginitis,
- diarrhea,
- rectal inflammation,
- flatulence, or bladder inflammation.
In extreme cases, this can trigger the body’s immune system, which will begin to act against itself, and can lead to;
- fatigue,
- muscle and joint pain,
- dizziness,
- respiratory problems,
- menstrual problems,
- eczema,
- acne,
- hives,
- psoriasis,
- insomnia, or irritability
All of these may be quite removed from the actual cause or source of the problem.
Finally there can be a condition known as “invasive candidiasis” or “candidemia”.
This is when yeast or yeast toxins actually enter the bloodstream. This is usually as a result of an injury or surgery. When someone has a yeast infection in the blood the symptoms may be fever and chills that do not respond to antibiotics, and may also move to the kidneys, liver, spleen, joints or eyes.
